Delsa Took the Responsibility to:
Objectives of the Facility
- To Collect, Transport and Store recovered ODS "CFC" Refrigerants from the following sector;
- a. Service shop voucher grantees, and
- b. Chiller Owners under the NCPP project.
- To serve as pilot sub-project within Metro Manila (NCR).
CTS Facility Background
Between 2006 and 2007, the DENR-EMB through Voucher System of NCPP provided tools and equipment grants to eligible RAC and MAC service shop for ozone-friendly servicing
Qualification set by the World Bank to operate CTS facility
- Should be in related business (Collection, transport and storage of chemicals) for at least 5years;
- Must have the necessary permit, license and/or accreditation specifically for the collection and transport and storage of recovered ODS with concerned government agencies.
- Must have solid understanding of environmental management with focus on existing environmental policies and protocols.
- Must have an extensive and nationwide network in terms of collection of recovered refrigerants from service shop grantees; and
